Andrew Coates
Coatings Coordinator
Andrew has over a decade of experience in the coating industry, starting his in the field before moving into a supervisory role. In 2018, Andrew earned his NACE Level 1 certification and shortly thereafter became an AMPP Certified Coating Inspector. Since joining IDEAL Andrew has been responsible for managing daily field operations. His extensive field experience and deep knowledge of coating equipment have made him a valuable member of the team. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and camping.
Julie Arnold
Coatings Coordinator
With a decade of experience in the coating industry, Julie oversees all aspects of IDEAL’s coating services. Her role includes scheduling, planning, crew management, and significant involvement in estimating. Julie ensures projects run smoothly from start to finish, meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Her genuine care for our workforce promotes an excellent working environment and operational efficiency, which she believes is essential to success. Raised in Grande Prairie, Julie brings 30 years of combined oilfield and pipeline expertise, which contributes to her deep understanding of the local industry.
Marcus Edwards
Coatings Coordinator
Marcus brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his role as Coatings Coordinator. Marcus has advanced to this leadership position by leveraging his experience in coating technologies and process optimization. His focus on operational efficiency, high-quality standards, and innovative solutions has been instrumental in helping IDEAL achieve our goals. Marcus is also deeply committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our team. Outside of work, Marcus enjoys vacationing with his wife and two children, along with spending time outdoors.
